Kotor

During my first year at the master level was working with pieces inspired by organic shapes. I created things that might get you thinking of water tulips, spines or some other part of a skeleton. I like the thought of adding something to someone - things that could once have been inside a body are now worn outside it, or maybe they are some kind of parasite living on your skin. It is important to me that the jewellery works both by themselves as sculptures as well as on and with a body. The jewellery stands out against the skin and they create a pattern, a pattern that is two-dimensional from a distance but get a depth when you get closer.
